I will start this review with a story. It was a normal day, working, and I got a call from my girlfriend. She, together with some of her school colleagues wanted to see a movie, but I wasn’t really in the mood of seeing any movies, especially being joined by 6 girls, so initially, I said I'd pass. I hung up and just out of curiosity, I looked for a trailer of this movie. Next thing you know, I was waiting in line to buy the tickets and I can tell you that I had the greatest time of my life. Literally the entire theatre was laughing and we knew that we made the right decision.

The Hangover (2009) is possibly the best comedy released in the last decade, and I can really tell you that I have seen most comedies this decade because I am an avid fan. The Hangover is not the type of movie that is disgusting and it is not about those annoying high school kids who are usually the characters in modern comedy movies. It is a story about the bachelor’s party of four friends held in Vegas. You would imagine that the title of the movie is pretty good when describing the main aspect of this movie. The guys get wasted and they wake up the next morning without the guy that needs to get married the next day. All their efforts to find out what happened that night are hilarious and you can expect a feature appearance from Mr. Mike Tyson. I didn't know that he could do comedy movies too.

All in all, The Hangover (2009) has to be on your movie list if you haven't see it yet. It is very probable that the movie theatre near you doesn't run the movie anymore, but you can always rent or buy the DVD or the Blu-Ray disc and enjoy a great laugh with your friends. Trust, you will not go wrong with this movie because it is simply great and it will make you laugh so hard that you will need a day to recover. Even as I am writing these lines I am still picturing the ending credits and the unbelievable pictures shown that describe the things these guys did under the influence.

If you need a laugh or just want to see a good movie, this should be your first option.
