I did not regret reading it one bit. It is not the best 'chic' reads that i have come across, but definitely one of the better ones. I suggest you stay away from the movie though, it disappoints. My friends keep recommending this to me, so I decided to break from my usual genres of adventure, fantasy and thriller and bought it. I have finished it, I just got it like yesterday.
